The Principle, Function and Application Scenarios of eSole300A Plantar Laser Scanner

2026-04-15

eSole300A is an independently developed plantar laser 3D scanner of 3DOE. Its principle is to collect morphological data of human soles through laser ranging and 3D reconstruction technologies.

This kind of laser scanning belongs to non-contact scanning. It will not cause harm to human bodies and eyes, and will not bring discomfort to testers. All groups of people can take the test. Whether they are the elderly, children or adults, they can be measured without affecting human bodies and physical feelings.

The scanning speed is extremely fast. Users stand on the scanning area of the equipment and stand firmly, then click to scan and operate according to voice guidance. From clicking scanning to the end of measurement, it only takes about 10 to 30 seconds to complete the scanning, obtain a complete measurement report, and generate 3D format data files such as STL at the same time.

The eSole300A plantar laser scanner is equipped with a stand column and an all-in-one computer. The all-in-one computer is a touch type. Users only need to click the screen with their fingers for operation. Generally, the left foot is measured first, and then the right foot is scanned and measured. The operation process is simple and easy to master. Operators can complete the whole operation only by following the voice guidance of the computer.

The measured data is comprehensive, covering more than 20 key plantar parameters. Adopting four-view scanning, it can capture the complete size of the sole and side part information of the foot. The measurement accuracy reaches 0.5mm, which is the highest in the current domestic industry.

The data measured by eSole300A can be downloaded by scanning codes on mobile phones, or exported as reports through computers for printing.

The measured STL data can be directly imported into 3D design software for the design and production of insoles or orthoses.

This equipment is widely applied in the following scenarios:

1. Applied in rehabilitation institutions and hospitals to assist doctors in judging foot problems such as flat feet, high arches, varus feet and valgus feet.

2. Applied in campus foot health screening to help teenagers and children detect potential foot problems in a timely manner and realize early intervention and correction.

3. Applied in offline stores as an effective drainage tool. It allows customers to experience foot measurement, fully understand their own foot size and health status, and realize intelligent selection of shoe sizes and insoles to boost transaction conversion. In addition, offline stores can also provide customized services such as corrective insoles and corrective shoes.

4. Applied to the research and development of insoles and footwear products in the shoe industry. By collecting massive real plantar data of crowds through measurement, designers can optimize product design based on such data and develop products that better meet market demands.
