How the foot pressure plate and foot 3D scanner work together in the application of corrective insol

The foot pressure plate and the foot 3D scanner both detect and measure the human foot, obtaining corresponding measurement data.

The foot pressure plate mainly obtains foot pressure distribution data in various states, such as standing still or walking, on the pressure plate, along with some related gait data.

The foot 3D scanner, on the other hand, captures over 20 foot data points, such as arch height, foot width, and foot length. Additionally, it can export 3D data in formats like STL, which can visually present a 3D model of our foot.

So, how can the pressure plate and foot 3D scanner work together for insole creation?

1、Through the foot 3D scanner or the 3D data of the foot.

This 3D data allows us to comprehensively understand the 3D structure of our feet. It provides a direct view of our foot condition and can assess whether we have high arches, flat feet, etc.

The generated 3D data can be opened in 3D software, fully presenting the shape of our feet.

It can also be imported into insole design software for personalized design.

2、Through the foot pressure plate to obtain foot pressure distribution data.

The foot pressure distribution data can precisely identify problematic areas of our feet.

Based on this pressure data, we can better design correction solutions for the corresponding foot issues.

3、Designing with insole design software.

First, the measured 3D data is imported into insole design software, where we can obtain the foot model.

Then, using the foot pressure distribution data, we can design the areas that need correction.

For example, by adjusting the thickness and material of the insole, we can help disperse excessive pressure in concentrated areas to improve foot issues.

After designing the insole, the data is exported, and the designed data is imported into a 3D printer or insole carving machine for automated insole production.

4、Multiple follow-ups on foot correction.

Once the insoles are made, the work is not immediately complete.

After the user has worn them for some time, foot measurements are taken again using the foot scanner and foot pressure plate. By comparing the data, we can determine the correction effect after wearing the insole.

Additionally, depending on the specific situation, the design may be adjusted continuously to maximize the effect and effectively protect foot health.
